Warhammer RPG Weekly: Courting the Vampires

Welcome one and all to the Warhammer RPG Weekly, the every-Friday chronicle of what’s new and exciting at the tabletop from the World of Legend, Mortal Realms, or grim, dark future where there is only war!
Before we jump in, a quick housekeeping note. A quieter week this week, but not one without at least a little bit of news as Cubicle 7 Games today teased its next Warhammer Fantasy Role Play supplement, the Sylvania Setting Guide.
If you’re new to the world of Warhammer Fantasy, think a little slice of Ravenloft nestled in the eastern fringe of the Empire, right down to the mists and the vampires. Of course for Warhammer, that means you’ll be getting the von Carsteins instead of von Zarovich, but we like to think the end result will probably be the same.
If you’re not new to the setting, well, you already know some of the horrors that lie in store.
No ETA or timeline on the release yet.
The Old World Bundle Giveaway
We had loads of entries into our bundle giveaway, including the Player’s Guide, Gamemaster’s Guide, and Character Sheet Pad. In the end, though, we only had one bundle to offer, and the lucky winner is… Falbangold!
To enter, respondents were asked to name their favorite Warhammer RPG system, and WFRP 4th Edition was far and away the top pick. All the same, I was delighted to see love for WFRP 2nd alongside mentions of Wrath & Glory, Soulbound, Imperium Maledictum and more!

Jeff McAleer of The Gaming Gang was back this week with another Warhammer: The Old World video review. This time, he dove between the covers of the Gamemaster’s Guide.
Zekiel at Ill Met by Morrslieb was also looking at The Old World this week, posting a review of the first digital mini-adventure released by Cubicle 7 Games, Thirst of Three.

A terrific conversation this week in the r/40Krpg subreddit when u/Newez asked for opinions on Fantasy Flight Games’ Deathwatch RPG- and one of the game’s writers chimed in!
Artist u/Illustrious-Box2693 shared some incredible, medieval-style portraits of some of Middenheim’s most notable citizenry the players will meet in WFRP’s classic campaign, The Enemy Within.
