For the record, I'm not posting this to take part in the giveaway as I've already owned a copy of Ghoulslayer (since replaced by the omnibus edition), but figured I'd still get in on the fun.
And we have a to go with the obvious - Gotrek finding himself paired with Teclis (you can even imaghoine the dialogue can't you; "Well I see that the standards for aquiring godhood in these Mortal Realms is just as dissapointing as everything else has been")
This is made even funnier as I *think* that Teclis is currently somewhat lessened in strength after staving of Nagash & Arkhan's machinations, so can't just handwave Gotrek away....
Gotrek finding himself in a desperate situation where he has to partner with Thanquol would be quite entertaining in the right hands. The Gotrek and Thanquol Series.
I think Gotrek working with someone death aligned would be very fun maybe a vampire friend? On the other end of the edge spectrum I think gotrek should get a kyndledroth or gryph hound just wor the "Dad and dog" meme.
Ooh there are some fantastic choices for one off pairings! I'm going to go REALLY weird and say Grand Justice Gormayne.
If you didn't know, Grand Justice Gormayne is a ghoul who is a bit more aware than most that he's a ghoul, and has to hide these moments of lucidity from his fellow ghouls. He's also described as a learned fellow and a scholar. This may be from a ghoul perspective, but maybe the man behind the delusion knows something Gotrek needs?
The obvious counterpoint is that Gotrek would just kill him without asking questions, but that is just a challenge to write around!
It'd be brilliant to get a more humanised portrayal of the courts, teased a bit in Ushoran, and an opportunity to show how Gotrek reacts when presented with a monster he needs to not kill.
